The L2P Learner Driver (Mentee)/Mentor Program assists learners, who do not have access to a supervising driver or vehicle, to gain the 75 hour driving experience required to apply for a probationary licence.
About the Program: Young people are matched with fully licensed volunteer mentors and have access to a sponsored vehicle, which they can use to gain supervised driving experience.
L2P Murraylands is available for youth aged 16 to 25 and others living in the region.
A contribution of $12 per hour mentoring is made by particpating mentees.
The Program does not substitute for professional driving lessons and L2P does not pay for the probationary driving test itself.
